I got my first camera when I was 14 years old, I lived in Aruba and traveled all over the USA, Caribbean and parts of South America documenting my travels. My deep love of photography and photo journalism started on the yearbook committee in high school over 12 years ago which introduced me more formally to photography and writing. I worked on the yearbook for many years playing a key role in submitting photos and editing the layout of the pages and captions. Getting into outdoor sports like scuba diving, hiking, snowboarding, and biking have fueled that passion into 2015. I practically live outdoors and love to shoot everywhere. I never leave home without a camera.
I also spent many years as a wedding/event planner and community volunteer so it only fit to want to photograph all of these beautiful moments in our lives. I now photograph Weddings, musicians, community events and anything else that comes my way (commercial, portraits, real estate and nature). I am great at wedding photography because I am a wedding planner by day and I mix the story telling candid shots with the posed/traditional wedding shots. I think you should have both and I would love to be the photographer to make your wedding day special!
I am Nicci, a fun and friendly Tucson photographer who would love the opportunity to work for you! I enjoy working with all people from brides to bands and can go from mild to wild depending on your photography needs. I am flexible and very reasonably priced because what is do is not just for you, it is my passion. I work and volunteer for many organization around Tucson such as Reid Park Zoo, KXCI, GLBT Chamber of commerce and the YWCA to help empower their organizations through my images.
My favorite thing about being a photographer is making new friends everyday and sharing my art with them. It is a very special bond. I enjoy being invited into peoples lives to capture and record their most precious moments and exciting milestones. I would love the opportunity to photograph for you!
